“Death by Chocolate”, the comedic murder mystery performance, originally written by Craig Sodaro, was performed by SHS’s drama club on November 21 and 22. This performance had the audience on the edge of their seats until the killer was revealed. After the performance, junior Ruby LeVar said, “Drama club is so fun, and we worked hard and people should know more nor do we get a lot of attention, getting overshadowed by sports, people should consider joining.” Despite the club struggling with membership they gave the audience an engaging performance. Both the cast and audience continually cringed at Bobby Sue’s singing, played by drama club Co-President, SHS sophomore Rowan Forte. The finale ended with senior Acario Cook as detective Nick Noir comedically missing a hug from the character Selma, played by senior Rachel Crow.
