Tulips take over Western Washington

Every April, Skagit Valley holds the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival so people can witness the beautiful spring flower phenomenon once a year.

Tulips are known as the spring flower for their meaning of rebirth and renewal, and for being some of the first flowers to bloom in spring. It is also known by gardeners in Western Washington that the soil and weather holds ideal conditions for these flowers. Every April, Skagit Valley holds the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival so everyone can witness the beautiful spring flower phenomenon once a year. The festival continues through April 30.
