Homecoming 2023's "Jungle Dreams" theme welcomed guests with balloon palm trees, shimmery crepe paper waterfalls and twinkle lights. This year, guests can expect deep blues, some purple, maroon, with plenty of glitter and stars that will give off a vibe of nostalgic nightlife for the theme, "Meet me at Midnight."

Literature Club adviser and AP Literature teacher, Renee Chase, congratulates first place prize winner, SHS senior Noelle Reger, for her short fiction story about the implications of AI set in the not-so-distant future. Senior Makenzie Barber’s poem, “Danced at Dawn,” placed first for poetry. All pieces were judged blindly by a panel of SHS staff.
