Homecoming 2023's "Jungle Dreams" theme welcomed guests with balloon palm trees, shimmery crepe paper waterfalls and twinkle lights. This year, guests can expect deep blues, some purple, maroon, with plenty of glitter and stars that will give off a vibe of nostalgic nightlife for the theme, "Meet me at Midnight."

SHS English Teacher wins Rotary Teacher of the Year

Dill has been a friendly face around campus and continues to make an impact on his students and the school.

SHS English Teacher Mr. Micah Dill received the title of Teacher of the Year from the Lakewood Rotarians. The Lakewood Rotary Club asked administrators around the district to nominate a teacher from each school to be selected as Teacher of the Year. Dill explains he was surprised to hear he was nominated, and is “proud to work in a school with supportive coworkers and administrators.”
