On April 24, Pioneer hosted the annual SteillyCon for the community and the school district to enjoy. Costumes were heavily encouraged at the event, with the main focus being “Star Wars” themed, however costumes from other video games could be seen too. Decorations were hung up creating a great environment to have fun and play games. There were also mascots who went around greeting attendees. Stands were set up inside of the building that hosted games and information panels. The event was a great way to grow the community and meet up with friends outside of school. Along with the free food being served, there were also events like carnival games and opportunities for students to meet up with the local first responders.
